The room at Generator Amsterdam was surprisingly modern and quirky, with incredibly comfortable beds - far better than expected! The location is nice and quiet, and it's easy to access popular sightseeing places. The reception staff, especially the girl in the morning shift, were friendly and talkative. The cool system with opening doors and using the elevator was a nice touch. I would recommend this hotel for a comfortable and pleasant stay.

I stayed at Generator for a few days and it was a great experience. The mattress was incredibly comfortable, not too soft to cause back pain. The cafe downstairs occasionally offered a delicious pizza for only 6eur, which was a fantastic deal. The building itself is beautiful, with fun artwork and decoration throughout. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and the view of the park was excellent. The staff were kind and helpful, and the location was convenient with easy access to transportation.
Totally recommend this hotel.

The café had a great variety of snacks and the WiFi was fast. The location was perfect as it was located near a tram stop and close to a beautiful park. One of the best things was their free water refill service, which was really helpful during my stay.
Although the café had reasonably priced snacks, the decor of the hostel wasn't as nice as I expected. The staff seemed friendly enough, but I did have a minor issue with the cleanliness of the room.
